Managing Employees

A complete guide to adding, editing, and managing your workforce in TempusWork.

Adding Employees

Required Information

  • Personal data: Full name, DNI/NIE, date of birth, contact details
  • Contract details: Type (indefinido, temporal, prácticas), start date, end date (if applicable)
  • Compensation: Gross annual salary, payment frequency (monthly), bank account (IBAN)
  • Schedule: Assign to a pre-configured work schedule or create a custom one

Bulk Import

For companies with many employees, use the CSV import feature:

  1. Go to Employees → Import
  2. Download the CSV template
  3. Fill in employee data
  4. Upload and review before confirming

Employee Profiles

Each employee has a detailed profile with tabs for:

  • Overview — Key information at a glance
  • Contract — Current and historical contracts
  • Payroll — Salary history, payslips, IRPF details
  • Time Off — PTO balance, requests, history
  • Documents — Uploaded files (contracts, certificates)

Contract Changes

When an employee's contract changes:

  1. Navigate to the employee's profile
  2. Click Contract → New Amendment
  3. Select the change type (salary, schedule, role)
  4. Set the effective date
  5. The system automatically adjusts payroll calculations

Offboarding

When an employee leaves:

  1. Go to Employee → End Contract
  2. Select termination reason
  3. Set the last working day
  4. The system calculates: pending salary, unused PTO payout, finiquito
