What Can I Share with PassLink?

PassLink supports any text-based secret up to 10,000 characters. Here are common use cases:

Passwords & Credentials

• Login passwords
• Database credentials
• Admin access codes

API Keys & Tokens

• REST API keys
• OAuth tokens
• Service account credentials
• Webhook secrets

Environment Variables

• .env file contents
• Configuration strings
• Connection strings

Software License Keys

• Product activation codes
• Serial numbers
• Volume license keys

2FA Recovery Codes

• Backup codes for two-factor authentication
• TOTP seeds
• Recovery phrases

Other Sensitive Data

• SSH private keys (as text)
• Certificate contents
• Encryption passphrases
• Any sensitive text you need to share once

Limitations

• Text only: File uploads are not yet supported (coming soon!)
• 10,000 character limit: For larger content, split into multiple secrets
• One-time viewing: Secrets are destroyed after being viewed (configurable)
